Endpoint Central's Security Suite just levelled up

We're excited to announce that the Endpoint Central security suite has introduced significant enhancements to Endpoint Privilege Management (EPM), Device Control, and DLP. This brings four powerful upgrades that give IT administrators greater precision and control.

Endpoint Privilege Management 2.0

You can now extend privilege elevation to specific Control Panel objects, such as Network Settings or Printers using their Class Identifier (CLSID). This ensures users get exactly what they need without broader admin rights.

Just-In-Time Access Enhancements

With Autonomous Approval enabled, JIT elevation requests for configured applications are automatically approved without requiring admin review. Access is revoked once the requested duration expires, plus, all auto-approved requests are logged in the JIT audit trail.

Available for

USB Encryption

Automatically prompt users to encrypt connected USB drives with password protection when they attempt to copy files to the drive, to enforce an encryption-on-write workflow. Additionally, the recovery keys for agent-encrypted drives are automatically backed up, so you can unlock any drive instantly.

Available for

OCR support for DLP

These updates also include OCR scanning. This means you can now scan 24 new file formats, including PNG, JPG, PPTX, and PDF. Sensitive data hiding inside images, scanned documents, and screenshots is no longer invisible to your data loss prevention policies.

Available for:

  • Endpoint Central (On-premises)

  • Endpoint DLP Plus
