With macOS 26.4 now showing warnings for Intel-based apps, I wanted to raise this with the community before it becomes urgent.
The Endpoint Central UEMS agent is currently an Intel binary running via Rosetta 2 on Apple Silicon Macs. That's worked fine, but Apple's roadmap is clear:
Once macOS 28 ships, the current UEMS agent will stop functioning on any Apple Silicon Mac unless a native (universal) binary is released beforehand.
Question for the ManageEngine team: Is there a planned release or roadmap item for a native Apple Silicon build of the Endpoint Central Mac agent? Given the September 2026 macOS 27 launch, this feels like something customers should have visibility on now.
Happy to hear if others have raised this with support or have any intel (no pun intended) from the product team.
