Emailing alerts and others
Hi,
I was wondering if someone can help me with OpManager 5.5 web client. Here are my problems:
1. I cannot email alerts, even though the Resource Monitor shows 2 violations of the threshold. When setting up the Mail Server, the test email works. Am I missing a step somewhere?
2. When I first setup the threshold for one of my Resource Monitors, an alert showed up (almost immediately). I accidentally deleted the alert and the alert no longer shows up, even though the threshold went from "normal" (after deleting the alert) to "violated" (delete the monitor and set one up again). Is there a reason why there's a missing alert?
3. The Resource monitor doesn't show any violation (i purposely set the threshold so that it would violate) after the Polling Interval time period. It doesn't show up for a long time, until i logged out and logged back in again. Is there a way to fix this?
I know this is a long list of problems and I would like to thank you guys in advance.
