Email sending fails

Email sending fails

I have a new install of ServiceDesk plus and can't get it to send emails. No emails go out on tickets being assigned, and when I try to reply to a ticket I get this error:


localhost:8042 says
sending notification failed

We are on Office365, but I also tried using Amazon's SES which we use on our copier.

Any help is appreciated.
