Email notification from switch doesn't include user info
I have changed the "display name" from the default name, ie, fastethernet1, fastethernet2, etc to a more meaningful name but when I get the email error that a port is down, for instance, a user turns off his workstation, I only get the interface number, not the display name so it's impossible to know who or what was affected.
I went under admin/snmp trap processors/trap name/link down/and selected "system name" and "system description" but this doesn't give me the display name.
How is this resolved?
