We have many access switches in our network. Access ports go up and down several times a day. We get a lot of alarms and those are difficult to maintain.

However, I have separated some important interfaces and want to generate email notifications only if these interfaces go down. But while creating notification profile, i could not find any option to choose specific interface; only whole device can be added to notification profile.

If anyone knows how to add only specific interfaces of some devices to a notification profile and share the process here, it would be of great help
