Email Notification (multiple notifications are possible ?)

I have configured two email notification alert for two different machines, but the problem is that, it notify just once, I monitored it appoximately two days, the alert became critical for two days but it generate only one email notification. So my question is that the notification would be done once or is there any time break for other notification or there is some other sonario. I am using AppManager 8.
The second problem is that in "Monitoring Information" panel the threshold value remains same always after the first time threshold value become true e.g, CPU utilization 80 > 70 (threshold), it will always be the same as after some time the CPU value become 72 %, so no change happen as the actual value show below is different.
