email notice excluding for specific event logs

Hi, I want to exclude email notice for a specific application log, but still want to see them on the alert page. I've tried this. First, I added a new rule that ignores the log that I don't need email notices for, and checked it only on the notice configuration settings with the 'all application' rule. for the event log settings, I chose only the 'all application' rule. but it didn't work as I expected, I recieved emails for all application logs. an engineer told me that the new rule doesn't work because I didn't check it on the event log settings. But if I check this on the event log settings, it will disapper also from the alert page. Is there some way to make this work? thanks in advance
