Email field as username for clients to login outside of the domain? or Where is the user authentication ldap string?
I am attempting to look through the flat files and db for the authentication string used in the SelfService portal by manageengine in order to supplement a client need to use email address' from AD/LDAP to log in to the self service portal.
Has anyone successfully used the email field as a means to login in the selfservice application or was able to find the authentication string in the db in order to be modified? I suspect like many applications the authentication string is simply a pointer to the ldap like many other application built using x.500.
