Email Fetching stops after a few days

Hi,

We have the free version of ServiceDesk Plus installed (9.1 Build 9105), and the issue we have is that after running properly for a few days, mail fetching then stops (although the admin keeps displaying the "Last attempt to fetch mail..." messages). There are no issues with sending mail, that is working fine. If I stop fetching, and click the "Save" button on the "Incoming" tab, I get the following error: "FAILURE :E-mail settings saved successfully. Could not find valid certification path to requested target, so kindly configure to apply Trusted/Self Signed Certificate."

If I go through the procedure of running the gencert.bat file to generate a certificate, this appears to solve the problem, and mail fetching works properly again, until after a few days or weeks (not sure exactly how long), I then notice that no more emails are being fetched, and have to go through the same procedure again.

We use gmail, and have set up a user (called "helpdesk") specifically for this. The ServiceDesk Plus application is installed on a server running Server 2008 R2 (This machine also runs our installation of ADManager Plus). Do you have any idea why this is happening, and what I can do to get this running for longer than a couple of weeks?

Cheers - Henry
