We are leveraging the Email Commands feature to create, edit, and close tickets via email. I've noticed that if I send an OPERATION=EditRequest command to a ticket that is already closed, a new ticket gets opened instead. I would like the command to get interrupted and not create that new ticket if the existing record is already closed.
Has anyone had any experience with solving for this? Or does anyone know if a Business Rule could potentially override the new ticket creation?
