Email commands, add vs update

Is there a list of what Email Commands one can use when creating a ticket vs editing a ticket?  I just saw in another topic here there was a comment: "This will work fine on edit operation. It is not possible to set due_by_time during add operation using the email command." I was not able to find this info by searching.
