Email Alias populates the CC line of request

I have configured an alias to our primary instance mailbox. That alias is assigned as the Group Email and Sender's email for one of my Technician Groups. Whenever an email is sent to this alias, it arrives to the primary mailbox and is properly ingested and the ticket is created.

However, I have noticed that the alias email address shows on the CC line when performing a "Reply All" to the request. Is this normal behavior? The outgoing email the end requester receives then looks odd since the sender's address (the alias) appears in both the From and CC lines.
