Email Alert: show display name and ip address
When a service goes down and we receive an email, it shows the server's ip address instead of the display name. I believe the "$source" variable is replaced with the IP address. Is there a variable we can insert that will map to the display name of the machine? Maybe "$displayname" instead of source?
We don't have every IP addressed memorized so seeing that as the only value doesn't help us that much. Ideally we'd like to see both the IP address and the display name.
