Hi there.
We had a problem over the christmas period.

We have the MSP edition of the product and before christmas, the probes we have on our customers networks were all working ok, all SNMP and WMI monitors and status's were fine.

However over the christmas period the OpManager probes services repeatedly died and upon restarting today they would work for SNMP but not for some WMI monitors, weirdly enough they worked for all exchange monitoring, and even default windows services such as DHCP server, but they would report all our custom services as stopped, such as backup exec and antivirus services, they were all working before xmas.

When going into "Discover Services From Device" it wouldn't show any, nor would adding a WMI monitor work such as "Free Disk Space in GB".

All DCOM impersonate settings and WMI settings were correct and even using the cpu.vbs test scripts etc all worked fine, and the username/password on the servers were correct, we have got it working again now by setting the service to start as the user, but don't know why it stopped working in the first place.

The customer probes have been reporting back to our central server saying that each server had not responded in the last 5 polls etc, as a result our reports say all the customers servers have had a huge amount of downtime.

So my question is, as this is in fact not the case, and the servers were live, we do not want to give customers reports on this downtime, or have them log in and wonder why the servers say down when they weren't, so is there a way to modify the collected data on both our central server and the remote probes, to show as not having had any downtime?
