Edit Custom Views - Combining Operands
I see there is still no way to combine AND/OR operands in a Custom View, as was reported as an issue quite some time ago. I desire to define the following view:

Group (is) "Network Services", "Voice Services"
OR
Technician (is) "John", "Jane", "Bob"
AND
Request Status (is not) "Closed"
----------
Once I define my Group condition, select "OR" and add my Technician condition, when I go to add my final Request Status condition and select "AND", the Filter automatically updates itself and replaces my "Group OR Technician" to "Group AND Technician". There was a previous bug in the software that if you added your AND conditions (first), you could add your OR conditions later. The same was not true of OR then AND, it had to be AND then OR.
That no longer seems to be true and there is no feasible means to adding a filter set that combines AND and OR operands. Given the view I wish to define above, how can this be configured under the current version?
My combination of GROUP and/or Technician stems from another long time product issue that you can associate a Technician to a request, but it doesn't automatically associate one of their groups. When a Technician belongs to only one group, this would be very easy to accomplish. When you select the Technician, automatically select his group. In the case of when a technician is a member of multiple groups, if the application had the option of selecting a "default group for Technician", or allowed you to change the selected/sort order of the groups, with the group "on the top of the list" being automatically selected as the default, then that would also be acceptable.
Until groups are automatically selected along with a Technician, these types of custom views are necessary. Since you cannot seemingly combine AND and OR operands, how can this be facilitated?
