I have recently been tasked with patching & cleaning up our EC inventory and have run into a few scenarios that leave me with questions.

The first is where does Endpoint Central pull the information from for the Software Inventory?

I have several listings for Adobe Acrobat Reader and when I click on the top level of version 24.0.0.1 it will show the Software Details that lists all the devices with this version. Some devices are listed twice (or more) due to EC counting each user that has logged on to that machine. When I click on the device name (Software > Computer Details > Device) and then click on the Software tab it will only show version 25.001.20577 is installed.

The problem this is creating is now I have no idea how many or which versions of software are actually installed on our 2K+ devices because it's not accurately being reported in our system.  Has anyone else come across this issue?
