For the third time in a short period i have structural problems with sending e-mail from SDPOndemand. I use my own Exchange server for years. Suddenly, a few weeks ago, problems started appearing out of the blue. I have no idea where this comes from or why this is happening and honestly - i don't care. I want it finally resolved. It has come to the point where our mayor is now asking us questions...
Next to that i've always used SMTP port 25 or SMTP with TLS (587). Port 25 gives me "Failed Addresses" if i try to e-mail external addresses (internal works). SMTPS with TLS give me "Client not authenticated" (fyi i can login with the user in OWA...).
Again: these issues have never bothered me. Now: to be safe i'm willing to use any other mailserver settings that work: O365. But i need guidance with it, because in o365 specific settings need to be made - i'm not an Exchange specialist.
I need a backup procedure that i can count on: or the problem is found what is going wrong with using our Exchange server, or you guys can help me out, from begin to end, with an alternate method - either o365 or any other that works.
Considering all our work has become so dependent on SDPOndemand, it is fundamentely important to have a good underlying e-mail platform - and a good backup procedure for if one system fails.
