DST patch for Desktop Central

Daylight Savings Time changes in 2007 will affect Java applications in the United States. This leads to improper reporting of applications, which handles time related data. Updated Java Runtime Environments contain updated rules to report appropriate time with respect to the time zone.

Existing US customers who are running build number lesser than 40404 are requested to patch the JRE. Please follow the instructions below to patch the JRE.

1. The Windows OS of the MEDC installed machine needs to be patched before doing this. Please refer to the forum posting

http://forums.manageengine.com/forumHome.do?forumGroupId=49000000002007&forumTopicId=49000002681021

2. If step 1 is done, then Stop Desktop Central service.
