It looks like this report hasn't gotten any love for a while.  As far as I can tell, this is the only report that is going to show me how MANY times a device goes down and individual durations of those instances.  It gives a start of outage and end of outage time, great, and then it gives the total duration of that individual outage, great. 

 

However, there are several issues with this report: 

 

The Total Downtime calculation for a device which seems like it should just add up the column total duration for the individual outages, does not add up to anything at all most of the time or I might get 22 seconds when my device was down for 3 hours.  SO it's completely useless and looks ridiculous when you send someone a report which can't do basic addition

 

If you try to do the Top or Bottom 100, 1000 etc. it only gives you the top or bottom 10. You have to do ALL to get more than 10 devices to show. However, All organizes it by the least downtime to the most.   It's kinda backwards, the bottom 10 should be the ones with the most downtime but the bottom 10 are those with the "lowest downtime that had an outage".  Yet, you should be able to flip it whichever way you want but cannot. 

 

This is also the ONLY report of this type.  You can't do a custom report like this at all.  It would be nice to have a Downtime Instance report as part of the Custom options.  Availability is sum of all report that doesn't give me enough details.  When someone asks how many times something has gone down this week, I can't say 5 hours 12 minutes so I have to use this report but as is, I can't send it to anyone because it isn't accurate and in its best form. 

 

Labeling in the format 4m 11s for minutes and seconds also causes issues when you want to do anything with it in excel.  This is a non-standard format and should be in 00:00:00 or the like. 

 

Maybe my devices need something set differently in OpManager but I don't see anything to change and there's nothing obvious.
