Hi,
I have two specific questions regarding Endpoint Central configuration. I would appreciate your guidance on the following scenarios:
1. We have a user account currently assigned the "Administrator" role. We need to downgrade this user to a role with fewer privileges. However when we attempt to change the role, we receive a warning stating that the associated API Key will be affected. The specific Service Name listed is "User Automatic".
My question is if we proceed with the role downgrade, will this API key stop working immediately? Does the new role need specific permissions to keep the "User Automatic" service functional?
2. We have two Remote Offices set up based on IP Scopes. Occasionally a machine located in one office picks up an IP address that might overlap or trigger the scope of the other Remote Office. When this happens, the agent automatically moves to the other Remote Office in the console.
Is there a way to prevent this automatic switching? specifically, can we use Tags or any other method to permanently "bind" or lock an agent to a specific Remote Office, ignoring temporary IP changes?
Thanks in advance for your help.
