Both the local and the remote domains seem to be failing.
With version 4 after some fighting with firewall settings and domain policies we had managed to get the scan to work. Now with version 5 the domain scan is failing again, with the same error.
I scanned our local domain and it came up with the domain listing and containers to scan. The scan returned only the servers (2) and gave an error on the work stations (the "computer may be turned off..." error). Scanning a domain outside the local subnet failed completely
I did manage to get the server from a remote domain (and only the server) scanned by using the 'newscan' option from the inventory and entering the IP address. Yet this same server did not respond during a domain scan.
Any suggestions on what to set for firewall exceptions and/or GPO policy? I am assuming something in that area needs to be addressed.
