So we are launching more domains with DTC. Unlike our other Domain Deployments these new segments are physically separated from our primary network.
We do have a very small IP space that is interconnected. So we can put a DTC server in each location and manage each domain separately (This is what we have done to test connectivity in the new environments.
However, what would be better is if we could use a distribution server in each new network segment eliminating the need to deploy new DTC servers.
The problem is, At least last time i checked, return communication from the end client does not go through the Distribution server. Rather it communicated directly home to the primary server.
Compliance and FW rules and IP structure prohibit this type of direct communication unfortunately.
The last time i checked on that however was some time ago and was not sure if this was still the same scenario.
