Testing out EndPointCentral and got a question.

How do you manage your laptops, when they are away from the office and Distribution server ?

Is it necessary to have 2 different installations ? One for Desktops located in reach of the Distribution server and a direct installation for Laptops without the DS.

Or will the Laptops automatically search for online servers, when they are unable to connect to the DS ?
