We have two domains in our environment. Earlier, automatic agent installation was failing for one Distribution Server with the error:
> Agent$\Temp folder is not accessible from the Distribution Server.
To fix this, we changed the Distribution Server to another domain, updated the DNS, and restarted all Central and Distribution Server services. After this change, agent installation worked fine for the last 3 days.
Today, when we tried to push agents again, the Distribution Server sync status is stuck at “In Progress”, and the Next Sync Time still shows Dec 8, 2025 – 03:04 PM, even though today is Dec 9. Replication is configured for every 3 minutes. We also restarted the Distribution Server service, but the status is still not updating.
We previously downloaded 150+ agents under this Distribution Server and recently added 87 systems, after which this issue started.
Kindly advise the root cause and the correct way to fix the stuck sync without affecting existing agents.
