Display Name from Switch?
I have many Cisco 3548 switches that I am adding to OPManager and they monitor just fine. My question is, when the are discovered the display name and the Description of the port are the same, even though I have custom descriptions on the switch itself.
ie: both are Fastethernet0/1
What I would like is for OPManager to pull the description from the switches (ie: MyMailServer) and use that as the Display Name. Is there a way to accomplish this so that it will do it on a consistent basis (ie: if I change the description on the switch, a rediscover of a poll will change the display name).
