DISPLAY : AM issues

Hi,

I've just experienced a quite strange issue with AM.
When started without setting DISPLAY value :

Note:It is recommended to start the product in nohup mode.

- Why does AM needs X server to startup and work correctly?
- Why does it complains about disk space since I have more than 100G left on fs where AM runs.
