discard alarms on all Nortel blade switches
Hi,
on my trial of OpManager 7004 i've Cisco 2950's, 2960's and 3750's and they're apparently humming along just fine, but i've also 8 Nortel GbESM L2-3 blade switches, and OpManager is reporting that various ports (basically any that are in use) have 100% discard rates, which is obviously not correct. looking at the snmp if table directly one such interface has ifInOctets sitting at 24640, and ifInDiscards at 289. doing the maths this is what... 1.2%? yet OM is saying it's 100%... what gives?
