Difficulty closing Request via Email or Bulk

Difficulty closing Request via Email or Bulk

Currently, our system is configured to require a phone number and an IP address to successfully close the request.  This prevents me from selecting multiple tickets and closing them, and it also prevents me from closing requests via email.  

Please give me an example of an email that would close a ticket in such a case or point me to the documentation that covers such events.
