Different stats between Windows and Linux?
Hello,
I use OpManager to keep track of the network traffic on an HP ProCurve 2650.
I both use the Windows and the Linux version (free).
The strange thing is, that the Windows traffic monitors seem to be corrupt:
e.g. switchport 36 gives on the Windows machine: average 121.62 kbps up and 17.63 kbps down, on the Linux machine: average 81.07 kbps up and 10.48 kbps down.
Time frame is exactly the same.
And it is almost always the Windows that gives the higher numbers.
Also, I compared the counters to the internal (iptraf) counters of a Linux box: the Windows machine seems to be corrupt.
Anyone else noticed this?
