Different Mail Server for Specific Alerts
Hello! I am running OpManager 6 Build 6016. I need to be able to setup specific Alert Profiles to use a different Mail server than the rest of them. The reason for this is that I need to be able to setup alerts on my Mail server separately, since if the Mail server goes offline I won't get the message that way!
I know there is a secondary mail server option, but this won't work as our mail server can go offline but still receive the message (it just won't get processed into a mailbox), so I'm guessing that OpManager won't consider that a failure and will not try the secondary mail server. Plus if it's going to a secondary Mail server it would have to be a completely different E-mail address, being that it wouldn't be on our system. Is there anyway to go in and modify the underly config files manually to achieve what I want to do? Thanks for your time!
