Different CI types show up in Admin CI Types vs. regular CMDB and Assets. HOW? WHY???

Different CI types show up in Admin CI Types vs. regular CMDB and Assets. HOW? WHY???

Below is a screenshot of two pages in our our Manage Engine Servicedesk Plus.
On the left side you see what is shown when I try to administer CI Types through the Admin ->  Configuration Item Types.
On the right side you see what I see when I look in the CMDB (not in the Admin interface). 

How in the world can there be MORE CI Types, specifically Desktop and Laptop, when I go in CMDB instead of trying to Administer the CI Types?
Why aren't Desktop and Laptop showing in the ADMIN-interface? I think there is where EVERYTHING should be shown? How do I get them to show there?

And also, if I go to Assets I just see this:

Now even "Windows Workstation" is gone? How do I get that to show up?
And why is the order of CI types in this list (A)ccess Point, (P)rinter, S(witch), (W)orkstation, (S)erver. Why is Server coming up after Workstation? Why not alphabetically? If I can change the order, how do I do that?
(believe me, the order gets WAY more messed up if I go further down!)


How do I get any order in this messed up chaos?
