Did You Know - Real-Time Password Sync Agent

The real-time password sync agent in ADSelfService Plus accomplishes the following objectives:

  1. Sync password changes in Active Directory with connected IT systems and applications in real-time.
  2. Send  email and SMS notifications to end users immediately after a native password modification, which includes password change by users through the Ctrl+Alt+Del option and password reset by the admins through the ADUC console.
  3. [Planned Feature]  Password Policy Enforcer  Enforce custom password policies that you have configured in ADSelfService Plus when users change their passwords using the Ctrl+Alt+Del option. Want to see this feature implemented in ADSelfService Plus? Cast your votes here.

Where you can find it?

The  p assword  s ync  a gent comes bundled with ADSelfService Plus as a n  MSI file. It can be located in the <installed_folder>\bin\ ManageEnginePasswordSyncAgent .msi. For example:  C:\ManageEngine\ADSelfService Plus\bin \  ManageEnginePasswordSyncAgent .msi.
