Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) is a comprehensive set of applications that cater to all your business needs. While the key functions like resource management, supply chain management, customer relationship management, and other functionalities are done from a single place on the go, it is necessary to ensure that the portal does not become unaccessible due to password expiry or other trivial reasons. By integrating Oracle EBS with ADSelfService Plus, allow users to self reset their password or unlock their account after proper authentication.

Steps to configure Oracle E-Business Suite accounts with ADSelfService Plus

• Go to Configuration --> Self-Service --> Password Sync/Single Sign On.
• Click Oracle E-Business Suite tile. You will be presented with Oracle E-business Suite configuration page.
• Enter the System Name or IP address of the Oracle E-business Suite.
• Enter the Display Name that will be displayed in end user's Password Reset/Account Unlock/Password Change pages.
• Enter the Schema Name of the Oracle E-business Suite.
• Enter the Port Number of the Oracle E-business Suite.
• Enter the Username and Password of a user account having execute permission on FND_USER_PKG package.
• Enter a brief Description of the system.
• Select the Self-Service Policies from the Available Policies drop-down. Password Synchronization will be possible for only those users who fall under the selected self-service policies.
• Click Save.
