Did Upgrade to 5.6 replacement of OIDTYPE.data
In the /conf folder in OIDType.data I'd edited (and have backed up copies) the file so that devices we own would be readily identifed. I also chose to pull some of the Cisco switch/routers away from the "series" classifications, as I saw some OID's only applied to specific models within the series.
I just want to confirm that the upgrade procedure for OpManager will not preserve any user edits to this page. In which case could a seperate thread be set up in the lounge, for users to include Object Identifiers, (for objects not automatically discovered by opmanager now), that we would like to be included with subsequent releases, for hardware we own and manage.
