Device / URLs --- stop clear msgs, when URL not monitored
We have some development web servers, which it is helpful to monitor several URLs on each. Because I do not want to monitor the URLs when the developers are working with their servers and taking applications down, and possibly performing reboots. I created the URL monitors under the server devices which host those URLS
The problem -- I need to be notified ONLY if the device is DOWN, and if the device comes back UP. In my notification profile I have selected - If the device misses 3 polls .... and when the problem CLEARS.
Unfortunately ... when they take down their application, even though I am not notififying for URLs.... I can get 6 CLEAR msgs in a row, when they turn their application back on.
Can you change the logic in the device notification, to not include CLEAR msgs for URLs, if the notification profile does not have URL specifically checked for notification.
