Device Templates - Duplicate sysOIDs annoyance
Lets say I have a firewall device -- in my case, a ZyXel ZyWall 5. I want to add a new device template for it.
When I query the device for the sysOID via the Device Template area, it says the device sysOID is already in use by a ZyAir B-1000 access point and will NOT allow me to add the ZyWall 5 as a device template, even though it is a completely different device -- it just happens to share the same sysOID.
This is a design flaw in OM and should be changed to allow duplicate sysOIDs to be added, since some device might share the sysOID but NOT the other OID values.
