Desktop Central software distribution
I need to distribute software - specifically the MS office compatibility pack. I have the deployment guide and am using the recommended switches. I am able to execute the file using START/RUN + path. I have 1 workstation I'm trying to distribute to as a test. I have pushed the configuration several times and the result was reported as a success within the Desktop Central 6 application, however the compatibility pack has not installed. There is no error message. I have build #60230 and version 6.0.0. I can't determine where the process is failing.
In addition - In regards to the agent tray Icon Settings: I want my users to be able to use the Icon to open helpdesk tickets but I do not want the users to receive pop up messages that their system scan ran or pop ups showing the server name when they log on in the morning. I don�t want them to see any messages from Desktop Central. How can this be configured?
