Desktop Central on Windows Server 2012
On Windows 2012, since there is no start menu, there is no way to access the start menu shortcuts to the batch files (like Start/Stop Desktop Central) if I've hidden the notification tray icon. I just found this out when attempting to install an update. I know I could stop it in services, but since there are multiple services and dependencies, it's not the best solution.
I found the "StopDesktopCentral.bat" file in the \bin folder and created a shortcut to it on the desktop. I would recommend adding an option to the DC installer to create desktop shortcuts if it detects Windows 8 or 2012
