I have integration setup between DC and SDP and its "seems" to be working ok except for detected software.  In Desktop Central I get 1709 individually detected pieces of software and in SDP I see only 1519.  Is there anything that would account for this fluctuation.  

I dont want to have to seperatelly maintain two different lists of hardware/Software in these applications.  having them sync is incredibly useful but if they do not sync correct, why even bother.

Which one is more accurate, should I turn off one and just rely on the other?.
