I was having a problem with Desktop Central 7 and thought upgrading might help, but it did not.

 

The problem I'm experiencing is that when Windows starts up the Desktop Central 8 startup window displays and get to 76% and stays there for over 30 minutes. 

 

Once the startup window goes away the computer utilization is 100%. When I check task manager the program mysqld-nt.exe is running at 90% or higher utilization.

 

After a hour or more all the icons on the desktop will disappear, including the taskbar, all that's displayed is the desktop background. Eventually I have to shut down the computer.

 

To be able to use the computer I boot it into safe mode and disable Manage Engine Desktop Central 7 service.

 

Any suggestions as to how to to fix this problem would be much appreciated.
