Deprecation of Azure AD PowerShell and MSOnline PowerShell modules: No Impact on M365 Security Plus users
From March 31, 2025, Microsoft will deprecate the Azure AD PowerShell and MSOnline PowerShell modules. The modules will no longer receive updates or support from Microsoft. Administrators who rely on these modules for executing tasks and automation are encouraged to adopt Microsoft Graph PowerShell SDK and Microsoft GraphAPI.
Impact on M365 Security Plus
M365 Security Plus will not be affected by this deprecation as all operations that were using the mentioned modules have been migrated to Microsoft Graph API after Microsoft's initial announcement on April 01, 2024.
We recommend keeping your M365 Security Plus instance updated for a seamless and secure Microsoft 365 auditing and monitoring experience. Beyond that, no additional steps are necessary for you to continue enjoying the benefits of M365 Security Plus.
