Deprecating Patch DB sync for Vulnerability Manager Plus 11.2.2328.1 and below
Hello folks!
The end of an era is often a time for growth and progress.
That being said, to enhance our workflow and continue to provide the latest features and patch updates in the product, we are deprecating patch database sync in Vulnerability Manager Plus 11.2.2328.1 and below from June 30, 2025. This means, versions below 11.2.2328.1 will no longer receive patch updates since the patch database synchronization will be halted.

1. What modules of Endpoint Central will be deprecated for versions 11.2.2328.1 and below?
Patch Management, and Vulnerability Management module will be affected due to this deprecation.
2. Will patch scanning work?
No, the scan information will not have latest patch information.
3. Will I be able to distribute patches manually?
Users under the specified version will have restricted access to the patch distribution. They can distribute and install patches which were synced previously, or by uploading patches to the server and then distributing them. Since either of these doesn't scale up, it is recommended to upgrade to the latest version.
4. What happens to the previously configured Automated Patch Deployment (APD) workflows?
The latest patch details will not be synced. Therefore, the workflow configured will come to a halt.
