Is it possible to set up a deployment task that will push to any PC that connects to the agent and will take the next PC name in the list? At present, I have created a deployment task and template for the roll out. I set a scheduled task to push the image to a set of mac addresses entered into the task. It assigns a unique name that is set each time I run the task.

Is it possible to remove the need to edit the template (to change the name) and add the mac addresses every time as it is a potential source of problems and is time consuming? Altiris used to take the PC name from a central number that was incremented automatically every time a name was assigned. Some way to do this would be ideal.

Open to suggestions though.
