Dependency hierarchy's!

My company is using OpManager for a few moths, and we are loving it! Process for purchasing professional edition has begun. :P
We are having a problem with dependencys, imagine this scenario:
- 3 devices : device A, device B and device C
- device C depends of B and B depends of A
If device B fails we receive the notification of device B fail and no notification for device C - this is correct!
But if device A fails we receive the notification from both A and C... in my point of view this is wrong, right? Doesn't OpManager follow Dependency hierarchy's?
