Delete Technician - side effects?

Delete Technician - side effects?

Hi,

I just talked with tech support. Asked if we deleted a technician would we lose the ability to report showing his name on past activities. I was told that it would show up as "Unassigned" . This means once I delete 2 technicians I can no longer see who handled the ticket.

I noticed that while in admin I can disable login but keep the technician in the list. Does anybody know if that frees up a license?
