I am running the latest version of DC8 and have been advised to upgrade to DC9 as some patches cannot be rolled out with version DC8 anymore

before i do this are there any gotchas?

I don't have a test environment and have been burned before (i usually disable DC agents on most critical servers and computers before doing any upgrade to avoid client problems)
