Dear Sir,

I want to backup OpManager data. There are 2 ways : 1 GUI, 2 command line script.

1. GUI Mode:

In Windows 2008 > All Programs > ManageEngine OpManager > DB Manager > Data Maintenance. When I run the Data Maintenance, it prompt "Please stop the OpManager server". The OpManager is running.

2. Command line script

In Windows 2008 > command prompt, c:\program files (x86)\manageengine\opmanager\bin\backup\

BackupDB_Mysql.bat

This script works fine without error. The OpManager is running.

Please tell me the different between GUI and command line script backup, thanks.

The OpManager is installed in Windows 2008R2, database is bundled MySQL.
