Database size issue due to broken HA not fixed after removing HA configuration

We recently had to engage support because our HA deployment of PMP was broken and had been probably since deployment of the servers. The status page for HA showed an ever increasing number under the pending replication count and what triggered us to the problem was when the disk on the primary server started alarming on capacity issues during PMP backups. This was because the PMP database had become huge, about 45GB in size.

In any case, after it became apparent that HA was broken and support was unable to fix it, we decided to remove the HA configuration. This was not straightforward either, and support had to be engaged several times to completely remove the HA configuration

Our problem now is that the database is still huge. While inspecting the database with the DBeaver tool, we found one table called 'rr_pending_changes' that has over 351 million rows. This table alone is taking 40GB of disk space. I assume this table was related to the HA config.

I would like to truncate it so that the disk space is released back to the Os. I sent an email to PMP support asking about this but I've yet to get a reply. Maybe I'll have better luck here.
