i would like to know if it possible to populate a database repository, doing a manual download of the patches I need away from the platform.

The reason why it's about a particular customer who has an extremely slow data connection, I have to filter and lock automatic updates because there is no sufficient bandwith for the whole lan network. At my office I tried to download all the patches I needed, depending on kb code showed as "to be downloaded" and put into the repository path to the customer's. Restarting the service did not work as expected, probably because there is some join between the files and the database, I also renamed the update with the patch ID but it seems there will be no matching until a new fresh is running.

Anyone could help me out with this matter? Is it possible to get what I need?
